Here is a collection of pictures and video clips from Jim's Japan adventure. 😀
Jim landed safely and began to bop all over the streets of Tokyo. It looks like he is visited shrines and tasting some yummy foods. He really loved his plane ride, it was very long, but he couldn't help but pretend he was a super hero flying through the clouds while he wore his cape. He wanted to share a picture of his first dessert in Tokyo, a crepe filled with sweet treats. He was also very impressed by the wall of Sake jugs at the shrine that reminded him of a Mah Jong game, the giant vending machines, and of course mini robots!
Jim visited Tokyo Station, his first shrine in Chiyoda, Japan, he ate vegan ramen, and has learned that he is a big fan of ramen noodles.
Jim visited a rooftop park, Shibuya Sky and the Nintendo store in Shibuya, Tokyo.
-Shibuya is home to two of the busiest railway stations in the world.
Jim had a wonderful time in Chuo City eating food from different food vendors in Tsukiji Market. He was surprised by the ornate stone work of the Tsukiji Hongwan-ji Temple.
Jim had a great time taking the Shinkansen, the bullet train, to Kyoto, Japan. He had a blast parading up and down the old style village in Ninenzaka.
Jim has visited Senso-ji Shrine in Asakusa. It was a rainy day, but that didn't dampen his spirits. The market was still bustling with tourists enjoying the shopping .
Jim visited the Osaka aquarium. Apparently this is the 14th largest aquarium in the world! He really enjoyed watching feeding time for the penguins, and seeing the crab that was bigger than him.
Jim had a blast going high above the city on the Osaka Ferris wheel. This ferris wheel is the 10th largest in the world.
He felt like a real superhero flying in the sky.
If you are curious about other ferris wheels around the world, here is an ever growing list. Ferris Wheels
He posed as dignified as posible in front of the lovely Imperial Palace, in Tokyo. In case you are curious: here is a link to the castles of Japan.
He also saw the Hie-Jinja shrine which is home to the Sanno Matsuri festival. He waited in line for an hour to get a stamp at this shrine.
Jim couldn’t make it inside Teamlab planets art facility, but he did get to pose with Godzilla, the unicorn gundam.

Jim took these pictures to share his visit to Mt Fuji. Japan’s Mt. Fuji is an active volcano, and it is considered one of Japan’s three sacred mountains.
Jim loved visiting the Saiko Iyashinosato Nenba, which is an open air, old style village and museum. The thatched-roof houses of this traditional village made him feel like he was inside a fairytale.
Jim loved every second he spent traveling in Japan. The new modes of transportation he explored were top notch for this little transit guru. Even though it was a long bus ride, his bag of snacks and the lovely landscapes of Japan through the window kept him bus. He was very excited to come home so he could share his stories and treats with his caretaker humans and fellow Brook sprites. 🥰
Our Brook Sprite puppet Jim went on this big adventure with four human friends, they all had a blast. Zipping around London and sightseeing so many new and different things was exciting. Enjoy this slideshow of some of his favorite moments.
