Give some new life to some of those old magazines you have lying around. Or, make use of the over abundant coupon mailer booklets received in the mail.
Once you have selected your booklet you can follow these easy steps.
Take the upper left hand corner and fold it toward the center spine. The top edge of the page should line up with the center spine. Repeat this step, until all the pages have been folded once.
Fold each page a second time by taking the upper left edge of each page and folding it to the center spine.
You should now have what looks like a tall diamond shape.
Cut off the pointed bottom edge of this diamond shape. To cut easily and get straight lines, you may need to cut a few pages at a time.
The end result is your beautiful Magazine Christmas Tree. If you want to add stability, you can glue a cardboard circle base underneath. If you made it with a thin booklet you can glue the base to a half a circle. This will allow it to still look full. It can fit nicely against a flat surface.
